Clio Wood founded &Breathe Postnatal in January 2015 after having a baby in the summer of 2014.
She knows all too well the ups and downs of new motherhood, the tears, the smiles, leaky nappy roulette...and very often getting back in shape is the first thing to go from your schedule. Searching unsuccessfully for a way to kickstart her exercise routine again, she decided to hold her own retreat, full of accessible and effective fitness classes, good but healthy food (that you can definitely manage to cook yourself) and some great treatments and massages, and all without having to worry about what to do with the baby. &Breathe was born!
The first retreats were held in the Manoir that Clio owns with her husband, Bryn, in south west France. Manoir La Croix de La Jugie is a haven of calm where you can take time to focus on your fitness & diet, and relax in beautiful surroundings with wonderful therapists and trainers.
&Breathe launched UK retreats in 2016 with a short breaks and a home retreat concept, and is holding its first retreat in Morocco in 2018. We also run events and workshops for frazzled parents. Look out for our regional ambassadors too!

Clio started &Breathe in 2015 after her daughter was born. Clio is from London, has lived in Paris and Singapore, has a degree from Cambridge University and used to own a canalboat with her husband Bryn. She used to be a headhunter and then interior designer/upcycler. La Jugie is her home and the perfect space for &Breathe.
Fully trained in pre- and post-natal exercise, our Head PT, Caroline, brings a whoop and a smile to every session. She cycles all over London as a personal trainer and studio instructor, leaving nothing but toned bums in her wake. Caroline trained as an actress and is also a qualified nursery teacher - great with kids and adults alike!
Olivia helps parents navigate changing identities, balance competing roles and confidently embrace the new normal. She focuses on nurturing parents' happiness & wellbeing, for the benefit of the whole family. She uses NLP, mindfulness, Reiki, and her own experience, to help you find calm in the chaos.
Amanda Savage is an experienced Physiotherapist and Pilates instructor who specialises in helping women find and train their pelvic floor muscles. She offers discreet 1:1 consultations from her clinic in Cambridge and is working to bring expert knowledge, skills and advice to &Breathe clients. www.supportedmums.com
Audrey is a nutritionist, health & wellbeing coach and massage therapist. She loves helping people reach the healthiest version of themselves through simple & practical solutions. As well as making sure you get the most nutritious & healthy meals during our retreats, Audrey runs OXY Therapy in North London.
